evernote-mode software package provides Emacs major mode for editing Evernote directly, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install evernote-mode
evernote-mode is installed in your system.
Make ensure the evernote-mode package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep evernote-mode *
You will get with evernote-mode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
